Week 2 Weight Loss

Hello Everyone,

I was feeling a bit weak, and sick today so I didn't do much. I have a really bad cold so I didn't do anything at the gym but, I did keep to eating healthy! I had my normal bowl of Cheerios with bananas and a glass of OJ with pulp. For lunch, I had some chicken noodle soup and water. For dinner, I cooked some chicken over white rice and had some steamed veggies with water. I have had NO snacking during the day which is a huge change for me. I've been feeling a bit dehydrated lately and I'm chalking it up to all the hard work. Also, I have been trying to drink 8 glasses of water a day to keep my stomach full and my body fresh! 275.2 Oh Yeah!

Week 2 Weight Loss

Hello Everyone!

Today was a little rough! I was hungry, didn't feel like doing ANYTHING and was in a really bad mood! I was thinking about forgetting the whole weight loss thing but, I didn't. I stayed in a bad mood while I ate my oatmeal for breakfast with a glass of OJ. For lunch, I ate turkey and american cheese on rye bread and had some peanuts. Then, I went to the gym and did my chest workout! Again, I didn't want to push it just yet so I did Incline, Decline, and Flat bench press. I did all the chest exercises 3 sets of 10 reps. Then, I moved onto the StairMaster on level 2 for 30 mins. Oh Yeah! For dinner, I went back to my grilled chicken cesar salad with about of gallon of water because I felt so dehydrated! All in all, I made it through the day and I'm still on my weight loss journey!

My Weekend Weight Loss!!!!!

Hello Everyone!

My weekend went very well! I started out Saturday morning with a bowl of cheerios with 2% milk and a glass of OJ. That wasn't really enough to kill my appetite, so around 11:00 I had a apple instead of a twinkle! For Lunch, I had a chef salad and water because the apple did it's trick. Then I decided to go on my first run in about 2 yrs! I made it about a half mile and felt like I was going to die but I made it! After my run it was about time to prepare dinner. For dinner, I decided to have a steak with mashed potatoes! I know that wasn't the healthiest choice but it was the weekend! I decided that working out with weights was going to be Mon-Fri and rest on the weekends but continue with the cardio 7 days a week.

Sunday was another good day! I slept in and had a brunch around 10:30! I had oatmeal, a toasted plain bagel with mixed fruits! To my surprise, I enjoyed every bit of it! i took the time to savor the flavor instead of stuffing everything in my mouth to get the being full sensation! I went to the gym to do some fun cardio. I grabbed a basketball and decided to take 1 shot and run to the other side of the court to shoot the next. I kept that pace going for about 15 min and became very tired so I stopped! That was great for me though as I actually enjoyed it! I came home a took a little nap and started to prepare my chicken with brown rice for dinner! My beverage was glass of diet coke! I enjoyed every bit of it and when I woke up Monday morning I weighed 276.2!!!!! The weight is coming off at a good pace and I'm ready to kick it into high gear!!!!!

Day 5 of Weight Loss Journey

Hello Everyone!

I have a surprise!!!!! I'm still fat! As my weight loss journey continues, I am getting used to eating healthier and it's not so bad. This morning, I ate a chocolate chip muffin with some coffee! It's not the healthiest breakfast I've ever eaten but, it's better than most breakfast I've ate. For lunch, I had some Sushi (california roll) with water! After, I went to the gym and did a bicep workout. I started off with some pull ups although I felt like I was pulling the bar down! I could only do 8 but, that's as good as I expected! I moved on to the preacher curl bar and did 3 sets, 10 reps with a about 80 pounds, a weight I felt comfortable with! Also, I did dumbbell curls with 40 lbs in each hand for 3 sets of 10 with 40lbs. That concluded my weights then I moved on to the StairMaster on the easiest level for 30 min! I wasn't to hungry when I came home so I ate a Chicken Cesar Salad, no dressing and sparse croutons with a diet coke. I weighed 278.0. Oh yeah!!!!!

Day 4 Weight Loss

Hello Everyone!

Day 4 of my weight loss journey went well. I ate good all day but, I did have my comfort food as well because of the snow. I at a bowl of regular cheerios this morning for breakfast with a glass of orange juice! For lunch, I had a healthy choice turkey and cheese sandwich with diet coke. Then I went for a little desert. It was the blizzard of the century so I had 10 double stuffed oreos with milk. Listen, I said I was gonna have my setbacks and I needed a little extra energy for all the shoveling I had to do! The gym was closed so no weights tonight but, believe me, I got my workout in! I shoveled cars out for 3 hours and sweat and sweat and sweat! I weighed in at an even 278.8!!!! It's not coming off fast but then again it I didn't gain it that fast either!

Day 3 Weight Loss

Hello Everyone!

Day 3 of my weight loss journey was good. I ate a normal sized bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios for Breakfast with 2% skim milk, had a grilled Chicken Cesar salad for lunch with no dressing and a little honey mustard and a diet coke, and for dinner I had a piece of grilled chicken with brown rice and water! To my surprise I wasn't hungry and actually enjoyed eating healthier. Afterwards, around 7:30 I went to the gym. I decided to do a chest workout, nothing to big or strenuous! I did the 3 basic exercises for chest. I did flat bench 3 sets of 10 reps and did the same with Incline bench and Decline bench with perfect form. After that it was off to the stair master on the easiest level for 30 min.

Today, I weighed in at 279.6! The weight is coming off slowly but surely. The blizzard of the millennium is about to hit so keep safe!

DAY 2 Weight Loss Journey

Hello Everyone!

Well, the first day of my weight loss journey didn't go so well. I weighed in at 280lbs in the buff this morning. I started the day off great! I ate a bran muffin for breakfast and had a salad for lunch. I later found out I would be going to Chuck E Cheese for dinner and games! My will power failed me, I ate 2 slices (small slices) of pizza and had a few wings. However, I did drink a diet coke instead of the preferred regular and only ate 2 slices as opposed to the normal 6-7! Not much cardio other than skee ball and arcade basketball. I am completely committed to losing the weight but, I will have my setbacks. My plan is not to totally cut everything out at once but, to gradually cut back on fat foods and eat healthier eventually coming to the complete transition. Weights and Cardio tonight!
